Ecovision has a highly qualified  and committed team of environmental consultants, engineers and hydreologists with several years of field experience in groundwater monitoring.

Groundwater monitoring is important for these reasons:

  • To check that water quality is not adversely affected by industrial pollution or saltwater incursion
  • To monitor rising groundwater levels that could cause flooding or flush sources of pollution

EcoVision's engineers monitor all groundwater wells and surface water locations in accordance with existing Alberta Guidelines. Our team collects groundwater samples from all monitoring wells that contain sufficient water for contaminants of concern. The general practice we follow is listed below:

  • Depth to groundwater will be  measured using an interface probe.
  • Water samples will be collected from the monitor wells, using a dedicated disposable polyethylene bailer.  The water sampled will be transferred from the bailer into sample bottles using a VOC sample tube.  One water sample will be collected from each monitoring well and analyzed for the required parameters.
  • Our engineers and consultants follow the highest standards and ensure that sampling is always conducted in accordance with standard methods and protocols
  • We only use certified laboratories with a proven track record for sample analysis
  • Lastly we prepare and submit the report to the client

Quinolones They are also known as fluoroquinolones. They’re bactericidal, synthetic, and antibacterial meds with a broad-spectrum action. Patients use these antibiotics to treat urinary tract infections when other alternatives are inefficient: bacterial prostatitis, hospital-acquired pneumonia, and plaque. Some of the most common meds in this group include Levaquin, Cipro, and Avelox. Sulfonamides Sulfonamides are effective against many gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria. However, resistance to them is common. Doctors often prescribe these antibiotics to treat and prevent pneumocystis pneumonia, urinary tract infections, or ear infections. The most popular ones include Bactrim, sulfisoxazole, and Azulfidine.
